7. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and for any longer period required by law, for example to meet record-keeping requirements under tax and company laws. Student records, including course completion and certificate details, are kept while your account is active and afterwards for the period required under applicable law, so that certificates you have earned can continue to be verified.

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect your data. No system is completely secure; if a personal data breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access a summary of your personal data, correct or update it, have it erased when it is no longer needed, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
